Xiaomi has added the Redmi G to its range. The Redmi G is the first gaming laptop by Xiaomi with a GeForce GTX 1650 Ti and a 144Hz screen. Redmi G gaming laptop has launched with the latest 10th generation Core i7 processor.
Xiaomi equips the various configurations of Redmi G with a Core i7-10750H, i5-10300H or i5-10200H, combined with 16GB ddr4 memory and a GTX 1650 or GTX 1650 Ti. All models receive a 512GB NVME SSD.
The Redmi G contains a 16.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. It is a matte screen that offers a brightness of up to 300cd / m². According to Xiaomi, the screen has a viewing angle of 178 degrees.
The thickness of the laptop is 23.1mm at the front and 24.35mm at the back when closed . The laptop supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi with a 2×2 network card, which also provides bluetooth 5.1 support. Furthermore, two USB 3.2 gen2 ports, mini display port 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 are available, as well as a gigabit ethernet port. At the beginning of this year, the company did come out with several RedmiBook laptops. Xiaomi released its first gaming laptop in 2018.
Xiaomi offers the Redmi G in China for a starting price of CNY 5,299 (approx Rs 57,000) for the Core i5-10200H model and 60Hz display, CNY 6,299 (approx Rs 68,000) for the Core i5-10300H model with 144Hz display and most expensive variant costs CNY 6,999 (approx Rs 75,000) with Core i7-10750H processor and 144Hz display. It is the company’s first laptop in the Redmi G series.
