Xiaomi took advantage of an event in China to present its Redmi AirDots 2, wireless headphones that are maintained at an ultra aggressive price. Xiaomi has already made a big splash with its AirDots launched last year, in particular thanks to a neat and compact design, honorable autonomy, equally good listening quality and an ultra aggressive price.
The success is undeniable: more than 3 million pairs were sold last year around the world. The brand wants to repeat and announces in China that would offer the Redmi AirDots 2 for 99 yuan or 12 euros.
Xiaomi uses the AirDots S launched last April as a base. The AirDots 2 will offer some new features with the integration of Bluetooth 5.0, an ambient noise reduction module (only during calls), but no active noise cancellation (not possible on this price range).
According to the brand, the sound rendering has been reworked to offer sharper highs and lighter mids and bass for a perfect balance while maintaining good precision in the sound. Xiaomi promises 4 hours of continuous listening time and 12 hours of additional battery for the box.
Good news, these AirDots 2 see the arrival of new touch controls with the possibility of changing the song or launching the XiaoAI personal voice assistant.
