Chuwi CoreBook Pro is a new laptop with Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, 13-inch 2K screen and USB-C port. It will be officially presented on July 21st.
After the success of CoreBook, Chuwi has decided to launch a similar but enhanced version. It will be called CoreBook Pro, according to what was communicated by the Chinese company, it will be officially presented on July 21st and will be on limited offer for a week (until July 27th).
From the first information, Chuwi CoreBook Pro will no longer belong to the detachable category but will be a real clamshell notebook inspired by the Huawei MateBook Pro (not only in the name). The main feature of the new notebook is certainly its display: a 13.3-inch 2K panel (2160 x 1440 pixels) with ultra-thin bezels for a screen-to-body ratio of 85% and 100% sRGB color coverage, which will ensure an immersive video experience and high color fidelity.
In addition, the 3: 2 aspect ratio will facilitate productivity in work and learning, with a more square format of the traditional 16: 9 that increases the vertical visual space to be able to consult more content in web browsing or in the compilation of a document.
Turning to the hardware configuration, we know that Chuwi CoreBook Pro will be equipped with a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-6157U processor with Intel Iris 550 graphics, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of memory on SSD disk , an equipment that should be able to easily decode 4K video and manage any daily scenario both in business and in entertainment. In the dimensions of 289 × 219 × 17.75 mm and in the weight of 1.34Kg , CoreBook Pro also integrates a USB Type-C port that will be able to recharge the notebook (from 0 to 60%) in about an hour, a USB 3.0 port, a audio jack and a microSD card slot to expand storage, to which is also added a free M.2 SSD slot. Obviously it runs on Windows 10.
