The Motion Computing Group, which specializes in mobile computing solutions, has introduced its new touch pad CL900 under Intel Atom Oak Trail.
Primarily aimed at the professional market because of its design for enhanced resistance to shock, dust and water, this 10.1-inch touch pad will be available from the second quarter of 2011.
Led by an Intel Atom Oak Trail at 1.5 GHz and equipped with 1 or 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, it runs under Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional. It offers a multitouch interface (use of fingers or the stylus, your choice) in a resolution 1366 x 768 pixels, a micro-HDMI output, a built-in speaker, a headphone, a wireless network connection Wi- Fi 802.11 b / g / n and a possibility of 3G connection (SIM slot provided for this purpose).
The program also opportunities for GPS navigation, a 3-megapixel sensor in the back (for photos), a 1.3 Megapixel sensor front associated with a stereo microphone (for video), flash memory 30 or 62 GB , an SD slot, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 3.0.
All in sizes 27.7 x 17.9 x 1.5 cm and weighs about 950 grams and powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion up to 8 hours of battery life.
