Microsoft has unveiled the update program for its new Microsoft Edge browser. On the menu, it will get an updates in every six weeks on the channels reserved for beta on one hand and stable versions on the other. These two channels will see updates go through one month apart.
Microsoft presents us this week for the updates of the new version of Edge, based on Chromium. We are discovering a very regular pace of deployment, with slots announced until Edge 89, expected early next year.
Next versions of Edge:
For example, Edge 84 will arrive on the Stable Releases Channel on July 16, which means that Edge 85 will debut on the Beta Channel in the week of July 27. Scheduled for early next year, Edge 89, for its part will go through the beta box on 1st February 2021 and it should begin in stable release on March 4, 2021, Neowin notes. With more or less a less interval, therefore.
Note, however, that these slots may need to change slightly in the event of a delay or unforeseen situation in the correction of early bugs in each new version.
