LG comes with a new and remarkable device on the market. LG has officially announced the doubleplay, unique Android smartphone with a split-keyboard dual touchscreen. The LG DoublePlay is an Android-powered handset that claims to be the “ultimate multitasking smartphone,” with dual touch screens that allow users to multitask, including checking email on one screen and playing Angry Birds or other games on the other.
The DoublePlay features a rather unique form factor. The LG DoublePlay is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash that can record 720p video. Furthermore, the device supports T-Mobile’s HSPA+ “4G” network and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
There’s no official word on how much the LG DoublePlay will cost, though there are reports that it will launch on November 2 for $149.99.
