Listed in the U.S. on the CDMA network of Sprint, the HTC 3D Evo will be launched in France in GSM version under the same name. The first smartphone from HTC with a 3D autostereoscopic display, requiring no special glasses, the HTC Evo 3D, was unveiled a few weeks ago in the U.S. mobile operator Sprint Nextel.
Featuring a 4.3″ screens in QHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels), and therefore capable of displaying 3D, and has a double 5 megapixel camera on the back for taking photos and creating 3D video, the HTC Evo 3D is a smartphone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread overcoated with HTC Touch Sense equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor supplied by Qualcomm.
And if it is a CDMA version that was presented to the United States, France HTC, through Twitter, said its GSM version would be available in our region. The terminal will retain the same name HTC Evo 3D.
Price and availability date are not yet known but the launch of the U.S. version is planned for the summer. Presumably it will be about the same in Europe.
