HP TouchSmart will be available from April

HP introduced the first desktop PC with touch screen tilt of 60 degrees. Looking elegant and simple, the new HP TouchSmart PC consumer 610 is tilted from a completely vertical position to a nearly horizontal, giving users the freedom to adjust the screen position for maximum comfort.

Consumers will benefit from the greater range of motion, superior visual experience and an intuitive touch experience of the new HP TouchSmart PC. The new all-in-one HP TouchSmart 610 is equipped with a high-definition screen diagonal of 58.4 cm (23 inches), adjustable up to 60 degrees and tilts forward up to five degrees. The ability to recline the screen offers more comfort for the long-term use and facilitating the use of video games.

The LED-backlit LCD screen provides optimal viewing from various angles, also reclined. Users also can take advantage of the rotation to 180 degrees wide arc to easily share the screen. The advanced touch technology recognizes the touch of a finger on the slightest contact with the screen for a quick answer. The control functions are conveniently located to the right and left of the screen for easy access.

With its elegant design and the latest version 4.0 of HP TouchSmart software, the consumer TouchSmart PC 610 brings digital entertainment to new levels, making it even easier to surf the Web, edit photos, or access to social networks. In addition to applications optimized for touch features such as Twitter, RecipeBox HP, webcam, users can add new TouchSmart through Apps Center. TouchSmart, the model also includes 610 Beats Audio. This high-performance technology developed by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre plays the music exactly as it was intended by the author in the recording studio.

For gamers in the new TouchSmart 610 is available in real-time strategy game from Ubisoft RUSE. Users can take advantage of the multi-touch navigation to mislead and manipulate the enemy, leading his nation to victory. The Model 610 also includes the new TouchSmart Application Link-Up, HP. Link-Up turns the TouchSmart in a terminal for all users digital content, TouchSmart enough to connect any laptop or desktop PC through a home network. Users can easily transfer files or display content such as pictures and video on the wider HD screen of the TouchSmart. HP TouchSmart will be available from April.
