The well-known leaker, OnLeaks has published images of a smartphone that would display Google’s Pixel 5. The smartphone shown includes a square camera island with two cameras.
Above and below the rear cameras are respectively the flash and an unknown sensor. The front camera is visible through a hole in the top left of the screen. On the back, a fingerprint sensor can also be seen on the renders, which come from OnLeaks and which are published by Pricebaba.
The screen has a diagonal of between 5.7 and 5.8 inches, according to information from the leaker. The dimensions would be 144.7×70.4×8.1mm. As far as design is concerned, the device of the renders shows similarities with the Pixel 4a from Google. That device has a single camera and a glossy finish. The Pixel 5 would be matte. The images show a black smartphone, but according to previous rumors, a green variant would also appear.
That rumor also spoke of an launch date of September 30. Google itself previously hinted that it will launch another Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 this year, but the company did not mention specifications, features, release date or price.
