Fitbit does not quite belong to Google yet, but its future wearables are already showing on the Web. The maker of connected watches and bracelets Fitbit could soon become the property of Google, if the regulators have nothing to say about it, which does not prevent it from preparing its next generations of gadgets.
The WinFuture site got its hands on the renderings of several products, starting with a Fitbit Versa 3 connected watch that will succeed the Versa 2 launched a year ago.
Always sport-oriented and monitoring daily activity, its design should not change much in terms of design with a still a square case with rounded angles.
The presence of a microphone visible on the case suggests that it will again be possible to formulate voice requests to a digital assistant. On the Versa 2, it was Alexa. Will version 3 switch to Google Assistant if the buyout of Fitbit is confirmed?
A new watch should be offered with the Fitbit Sense. This model will be identical in design compared to the Versa 3 but it could also integrate an ability to perform electrocardiograms (ECG) and therefore offer even more extensive health monitoring.
On the connected bracelets side, the Fitbit Sense 2 will renew the offer while retaining the same design as the previous version.
