Denon has announced the N11 DAB in its CEOL series of audio systems. The network-oriented audio system is similar to the CEOL N10, but also has dab and dab + support. The CEOL N11 DAB allows users to stream music from mobile, a computer or nas, via WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet or USB. The system should provide easy access to audio services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer and Tidal. In addition to support for AM and FM radio, the system can also handle digital dab and dab + radio.
Control can be via voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri via Airplay 2 and the Google Assistant, or via the HEOS app or remote control. In addition, there is an illuminated touch-sensitive control panel on top. The audio display information shows the N11 DAB on its OLED panel.
There are two more optical inputs on the back of the unit, and they have an input sensor for automatic switch-on when the TV is on. There is also a CD player, which can also handle discs with MP3 and WMA files. Speakers that support Denon’s HEOS technology are easy to pair, and the company itself suggests combining its SC-N10 speakers with 12cm woofer and 3cm tweeters.
The CEOL N11 DAB will be available in August for 529 euros and the optional speakers SC-N10 will be available for 99 euros.
