Dell is working on a 10-inch Windows tablet with Windows 7, whose name is Dell Peju. The details emerged in these last hours describe a powerful and handy devices from specification “incredible.”
The technical specifications for the time being unveiled breathtaking. Dell Peju has an Intel Core i5, paired with 4GB of RAM, a setup worthy of a notebook. The Gorilla Glass 10-inch screen has signed a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is embellished with two cameras, the first 1.3-megapixel front and rear second from 5 megapixels. Storage is committed to a 64GB or 120GB SSD drive, with the possibility of expansion through a microSD slot.
The connectivity can count on 2 USB ports, a mini VGA, HDMI, audio jack and slots for SIM cards, while for the networking highlight a module 802.11b / g WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G modems. Dimensions of 27.4 x 17 x 1.6 cm and weighing 1.9kg, Dell Peju comes with a 5500mAh battery, which will ensure sufficient independence of 6-8 hours per charge.
Turning to the operating system, Dell slides show that the tablet will be provided Dell Peju Windows 7 preloaded, but it will be compatible with the Windows 8 operating system, as soon as available. Initially planned for February, Dell Peju could reach the market within the first quarter of 2012.
