Amazon Prime Video launches Windows 10 desktop app

Amazon has released a Prime Video app on the Microsoft Store. Members of the streaming service can stream or download videos through the software or watch them offline on a Windows 10 device. Viewing offline was previously not possible on PCs.

Facebook and Instagram to alert people to wear face masks

Facebook to recommend wearing mask to fight spread of Covid-19 via alert. On Facebook and Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg’s group is deploying an alert to remind them to wear a mask, following the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States.

Honor X10 Max 5G is official with 7.09-inch IPS LCD and Dimensity 800

As expected, Honor formalizes its large 7-inch smartphone, the Honor X10 Max, positioned in the mid-range. If smartphones with screens larger than 6 inches are no longer rare, those with screens approaching 7 inches, the diagonal of a compact touch pad, are rarer.

India bans TikTok and many other Chinese apps

India has decided to ban a total of 59 Chinese apps, including the popular TikTok and WeChat. Respectively, the ByteDance short form video sharing application and social network and the Tencent messaging application for national security issues.

Microsoft Edge gets tangled up with data import from Chrome and Firefox

The automatic installation of Microsoft Edge seems to have updated a jumper collection of data from Google Chrome or Firefox.

Following complaints from users on Reddit that Microsoft Edge (Chromium base) collects data from Google Chrome and Firefox without explicit authorization during its deployment in automatic update, Microsoft has provided some form of explanation.
