Asus has unveiled two new ultra-thin laptops i.e. Asus P31S and Asus P41S netbooks designed for professionals customers.
Asus P31S is a 13.3-inch model accusing 1.78 kg weight on the scales, while Asus P41S is a 14-inch model weighing 2 kg weight. Both enjoy a great delicacy, a metallic shell, reinforced hinges and a spill-resistant Chiclet keyboard, along with a 6 or 8-cell battery for up to 10 hours of autonomy and technology to achieve a 90% charge in 90 minutes.
It comes with an Intel Core generation Sandy Bridge, supplied with Windows 7 operating system. It also has a DDR3 RAM with a double graphics Intel HD / nVIDIA GeForce with Optimus technology to fuel their slab resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Asus P31S laptop features a GeForce GT 520M 1GB of discrete graphics while Asus P41S laptop features a GeForce GT 540M 1GB video card. They also jointly signed an Altec Lansing sound system, along with Gigabit Ethernet wired network connection, a wireless network connection Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, a 0.3 Megapixel webcam, a hard disk with a maximum capacity of 750 GB and a multiformat memory card reader.
They differ in the level against the optical drive and USB connectivity. Asus P41S has a DVD burner, a USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports, while the P31S has no optical drive and offers three USB 2.0 ports.
