As the announcement of the next iPhone approaches, things are becoming more precise and we now learn that the iPhone XR could disappear. The iPhone 12 could sign the disappearance of the iPhone XR, at least that’s what a rumor suggests that addresses the reshuffle of the catalog that Apple is preparing for the release of its new terminals.
It’s a tradition: the announcement and arrival of a new generation of smartphones is synonymous with adjustment in the Apple catalog. The brand is therefore preparing to remove certain references to keep a range that is both consistent, but not too extensive, in order to highlight its new products.
For a while, the brand will continue to sell its older generation smartphones at a reduced price. We know that Apple plans to release 4 models of iPhone 12: iPhone 12 in 5.4 inches, iPhone 12 Max in 6.1 inches, iPhone 12 Pro in 6.1 inches and iPhone 12 Pro max in 6.7 inches.
According to iAppleTimes, the brand would then choose to keep the iPhone 11 and iPhone SE in the catalog. A nuance, however: the iPhone 11 Pro range would disappear, because it was too close to the standard iPhone 12, just like the iPhone XR, which will have difficulty finding its place.
