Super Talent decided to throw in the field of solid-state drives with MSAT format for notebooks, tablets and netbooks. Their storage capacities of between 16GB and 256GB. The new SSD from Super Talent are equipped with an MSAT and adopted the standard JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council) MO-300V.

They measure 50.80 x 29.85 x 4.85 mm, and get a SATA II (3 Gb / s) while providing a data storage capacity of between 16GB and 256GB. Super Talent’s new solutions will be integrated into netbooks, laptops and tablet.

The MSAT card looks like a mini-PCI card, used mainly for the WiFi modules found in laptop computers. However, the format MSAT uses the SATA standard and mini-PCI or USB. Consequently, even though their connection is similar sizes and MSAT mini-card is not compatible with each other. For the moment, Super Tablet not announced pricing, availability and performance of the new SSD MSAT.
