Bethesda has today released the first demo for RAGE onto Xbox Live. PS3 owners will be able to download the demo on December 6th. Bethesda’s launched a RAGE taster on Xbox Live Marketplace, nearly two months after the full game released. According to the demo description on the download, which is 2.03 gigabytes by the way, Rage will be discounted to just $29.99 between November 25th and November 27th at GameStop and other participating retailers.
Overview of the Demo:
The Clan of Ghosts (The Ghost Clan), a fanatical gang of murderers, has infiltrated the water system beneath the city of Wellspring, with plans to poison the water supply. You are the one who has the weapons, talent and courage to stop them. While at Wellspring, you can also meet the local people, try your luck at games of skill, examines the goods from local vendors or take the highway and enjoy the races.
The PSN demo will arrive on Dec. 6. The game is good but not great with the Xbox 360 version holding an aggregate review score of 81 on Metacritic. Most reviewers praised the game’s amazing graphics.
