HTC Corp on Wednesday unveiled two smartphone models running Microsoft Corp’s Windows Phone 8 software and said the devices would be available in November through multiple wireless service providers around the world.

The two brightly coloured phones, the Windows Phone 8X and the Windows Phone 8S will pit HTC directly against key Microsoft partner Nokia, which earlier this month also launched two colorful Windows phone models.

Asus unveiled a docking monitor that’s designed for use with its PadFone at Computex 2012. The display uses an IPS panel and has a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels so that the aspect ratio comes out at 16:10. There are also HDMI, VGA, DVI and four USB 3.0 ports in case you want to use it as a standalone monitor.

After about 4 years of development and several delays, India has launched a Table just for $35 USD to become the Cheapest Tablet in the World. This Tablet is named as “Aakash” which translates to “sky”. Kapil Sibal, Union Minister for Human Resourced Development launched Aakash Tablet and it will be sold to students at the subsidized price of $35 (approx Rs. 1720) to expand digital access across India.
