Bethesda has today released the first demo for RAGE onto Xbox Live. PS3 owners will be able to download the demo on December 6th. Bethesda’s launched a RAGE taster on Xbox Live Marketplace, nearly two months after the full game released. According to the demo description on the download, which is 2.03 gigabytes by the way, Rage will be discounted to just $29.99 between November 25th and November 27th at GameStop and other participating retailers.

According to Sony, the Private beta invites will be rolled out over a number of weeks leading up to Christmas and the New year, so if you miss the first round it is likely you will still get in before the year is out.

The new version called Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot was released by Canonical. Major changes within the operating system is the improved Unity interface and the addition of several new applications. After months of anticipation by Linux fans around the world, Ubuntu 11.10 “Oneiric Ocelot” made its long-awaited debut yesterday (October 13th). The update brings a wide range of improvements, including some much-needed enhancements to Ubuntu’s Unity shell. Available in 38 languages, the free Linux operating system from Canonical can now be downloaded from the Ubuntu site.

Square Enix has revealed at the Tokyo Game Show, the release dates for Final Fantasy XIII-2. The first appearance will take place in their home country, Japan, will arrive on December 15, 2011.
Square-Enix has given this morning in the framework of the Tokyo Game Show a more cheerful news for fans of the JRPG Final Fantasy saga. During a conference, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy X will be remastered in high definition for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
