AMD has announced its new graphics cards intended for the professional market, the FirePro V5900 and FirePro V7900, with performances doubled compared to the competition.
Aimed at the professional market, FirePro V5900 graphics cards and AMD FirePro V7900 designed by the manufacturer can increase productivity in areas of design, engineering, finance and medicine. Indeed, the performance went to doubled compared to the bid competition (nVIDIA Quadro 4000).
Graphics cards supporting AMD new generation Eyefinity, a method for multi-display that can display up to six screens to a single workspace. FirePro V7900 graphics card can handle four displays of work, while the FirePro V5900 manages three. Alone, AMD Eyefinity saves significantly on productivity and workflow applications.
The product line also brings a new technology, dubbed AMD PowerTune, to effectively manage the consumption of the GPU. Specifically, applications benefit from a significant gain in performance due to the dynamic optimization of the internal clock, thereby minimizing energy consumption.
GeometryBoost technology is also integrated with the two graphics cards from AMD, always for the sake of performance gain. Especially useful in the field of geometry, CAD users and DDC will be able to design and manage large models efficiently and responsively.
Business cards FirePro V5900 and FirePro V7900 feature a DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 port. Both models can also handle 3D stereoscopic.
Issue price, the FirePro V7900 is sold from 683 euros and the FirePro V5900 from 410 euros.
